To keep warm as a blanket or to sit on as a rug, these thick, hand spun and then hand-woven frazadas are perhaps the last vestige of traditional hand weaving still thriving in the Andes. At 13,000 feet in altitude, it's wise to have one or two of these sheep's wool throws around.
